At S L Gas and Heating Services, we provide a wide range of services in gas, central heating and plumbing. We are never far away in an emergency and aim to always offer an exceptionally high standard of customer service at a competitive price.
As a guide, we have listed below some examples of the most popular services we offer. If you require any work or service that is not mentioned below or need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We charge a minimum of 1 hours labour for any visit where we carry out work, even if the work for example only takes 20 minutes to complete. After the 1st hour, we then charge by a per 30 minute period.
(This does not include estimations as these are free and non obligatory)
All fault finding or appliance / system diagnostics is chargeable. We will not attend your property to give free appliance or system diagnostics.

Gas Boiler service from £70
Landlords Certificate / Homeowner gas safety certificates for a gas boiler and meter from £65
( £10 per additional appliance tested.)
New homeowner boiler and heating system tutorial £50 (Duration 30 mins)
Combination boiler exchange, starting from £1750 (based on a Baxi Duo-Tec 24 ERP combination boiler)

Emergency call outs after 8 pm weekdays and all weekend, will be charged at £150 per hour.
We provide FREE NO OBLIGATION estimations for all work.
Any alterations that are not mentioned in previous writing or estimations, will incur additional charges or fees. Confirmation of any alterations needs to be stated in writing and agreed before any alterations can take place.
All work over £150 will require a deposit. This is between a minimum of 25-50% of the total price agreed. This deposit will be used to pay for parts or materials.
Payments are to be made in full and directly to our engineers, once work has been completed and an invoice has been issued. We are unable to offer a waiting period or payment plans for payments.
Payments are to be made by cash or through an authorised merchant e.g, Paypal or bank transfer only.
We do not accept cheques as a form of payment.
As we take pride in what we do and are confident in our work, we provide a 12 month warranty against any defects in parts or workmanship that we carry out. All the parts we use, are sourced from only approved suppliers and authorised by the manufacturers. We do not use any reconditioned parts.
Please be aware this warranty only covers work that has only been carried out by us and any existing design faults or system/appliance problems are not covered. (This does NOT include new boilers installed by us. All new boilers installed by us will be covered by the manufacturers warranty).
If we advise you need to have remedial work or improvements, to get the boiler or central heating system running correctly again, and this advice is not taken, then this will invalidate any warranty offered by us. An example of this would be, if a pump was replaced and the heating system was sludged and contaminated, then until the system has been power cleansed, we could not guarantee the new pump would work correctly in a dirty system for a 12 month period.
Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to accept or decline our services in its absolute discretion, without having to give any formal reason.
We have a 12 month warranty period on the parts that we supply and our labour, this will only cover the work we have carried out and does not cover any new faults or existing issues.
If any materials or parts are not supplied by us, then we will be unable to accept any liability for those materials or parts.
If you have a complaint about our work, then you will need to contact us on 0203 797 1225 or state your complaint in writing and send it by email to email@example.com. This would also need to be raised within 30 days of us finishing the work and you would then agree to let us come back and inspect our work. If required, we will carry out the necessary remedial work at our expense.
You agree that, if you do not raise your complaint within 30 days of the date we completed the work, or allow us to come back to inspect and rectify our work, then we shall have no liability. You also agree to let our insurers inspect any works carried out by us, in the event of any claim against SL Gas & Heating Services.
We will not guarantee our work or the parts and materials we supplied to you, if they have been neglected, misused, treated negligently or if our work has been modified, repaired or tampered with in anyway other than by us.
We accept no liability for any delay or the consequences of any delay in performing our service to you, if these delays are due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. We shall then be entitled to a reasonable time extension should this be required.
We will not accept any liability for delays or late deliveries of materials or parts ordered for your job.
We aim to carry a wide selection of commonly used parts on our vans, if we do not carry the required part for your job, then that part will need to be ordered via an approved stockist, a return visit will then be booked at a suitable time to replace the required part. Any return visit will also be chargeable. All charges will be agreed and clearly laid out on your initial visit.
If a part is required on the same day and is not stocked on our vans, then we will try to source these locally for you, but collection of parts inday will normally incur a small fee. This will be agreed with you at the time of your visit and will depend of the length of time taken to collect the required part.
